Sky launched its Mobile arm in the UK in 2017 and planned to launch in Ireland in 2022. We were asked to lift and shift the UK website to ROI, but our discovery phase revealed that the Irish market misunderstood the UK mobile proposition. We conducted three-week design sprints comprising design and research and created a new homepage, custom components across all sales pages, and porting and ID verification journeys.
I worked as a UX designer for the first six months and then moved to design lead for the following 18 months.
Sky launched successfully in Ireland after a year, making headlines and kickstarting the UK website redesign.
